Our Bristol office recently won the title of the South West’s Happiest Workplace in the Wylde IA Awards beating many businesses from all across the region.
The competition was launched last year to commemorate Wylde IA’s 20th year in business and aimed to find out what it is that makes a great office and happy staff.
ReThink were particularly recognised for our creatively designed office which underwent a revamp earlier this year. The new office has a range of meeting spaces that facilitates collaboration and a vibrant breakout space with a pool table and a Banksy mural for a Bristol twist!
Wylde IA director, Maxine Bennett, praised our company culture which emphasises the importance of a healthy work-life balance. Our office works alongside Bristol Mind, who hold workshops for the staff to promote awareness of mental health issues in the workplace. We also like to look after our staff’s physical health; we provide free fruit and healthy breakfasts as well as advice on nutrition.
Our Regional Manager in Bristol, Christine Christodoulou said: “We are so proud of our company culture and wonderful workspace and this award really recognises how the emphasis on wellbeing, fun and work-life balance as well as the design, layout and amenities of our workspace contribute to our team’s happiness and productivity.”
We were also commended for offering 100 days a year to staff so they can volunteer for charity. Our most recent charity day managed to raise £600 for the Diane Modahl Sports Foundation, with every member of the office dressing up and participating in a sports day themed fundraising event.
We are absolutely thrilled to have been recognised for this award and extend our thanks to Wylde IA and Herman Miller who hosted the awards ceremony in their head office.
