ReThink had a good number of respondants to the survey this year, and we will be sending Cancer Research money for every response received.
The results of the survey has provided us with some useful information on what happened in our sector in 2011 and what plans it has in 2012. Some highlights:
- 43% of IT Directors expect to increase headcount this year
- 89% expect workloads to increase, but only 39% expect budgets to increase – this will create a strain on resource
- 89% are concerned about their ability to attract and hire quality staff
- IT Directors feel their budgets are more protected than five years ago – business and technology is a good space to be
