The successful head of digital development will be required to;
* Lead the agency's development department of 12 developers
* Be responsible for the ongoing quality of the digital output
* Increase efficiency and profitability of the department
* Keep in "the know" of new technologies
* Work alongside the creative department to deliver innovative solutions to the clients
* Represent the agency in client meetings and presentations

* Can demonstrate a full and up-to-date understanding of the digital landscape

* Can motivate and inspire others
* Understands how creativity is expressed in digital formats
* Understands digital strategies and how to deliver them
* Has a good commercial understanding and can drive digital revenue
* Can demonstrate they can manage projects and people to the highest standards
* Has worked with creative departments to realise big ideas
Knowledge of skills such as PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, Flash and Zen framework is highly desirable.
