Technical Security Consultant / Manchester / Projects / £40k
Technical Security Consultant required for a market leading & highly successful Blue Chip market leader with impressive operations based in Central Manchester, North West. The Technical Security Consultant will report directly to the Information Security Project Services Manager working in a projects environment that can have up to 20 projects running concurrently. The Technical Security Consultant will be responsible for providing information security expertise and consultancy to ensure information security requirements are delivered and appropriately tested within the project lifecycle.
You will have the following key responsibilities:
* Ensuring risk based information security requirements are understood and assured within the project lifecycle
* Designing new information security solutions
* Delivering information security infrastructure projects
* Evaluating information security technologies
You need to have the following experience:
* Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst working in a Projects environment.
* Broad knowledge of information security architectures & technologies and standards
* Specialist knowledge in at least one of the following: ISO27001 encryption, identity management, PKI, intrusion detection and prevention, firewalls, network & application penetration testing
* You need to have proven experience of IT Security working within a Projects environment.
* You need to have proven relationship management experience with the ability to act as a consultant throughout the business. Stakeholder management is key.
