Business Development Manager / Field Sales Executive - Enterprise Software Sales - £75k basic (£150k+ uncapped OTE) + car + benefits

My client is a leading Gartner Magic Quadrant global software vendor currently experiencing rapid growth throughout EMEA. Due to this continued expansion they are now seeking to recruit a high-calibre, experienced Field Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to help expand its market presence across EMEA. Working as part of the NEMEA field sales team, you will target corporate clients / enterprise customers across the UK and Northern Europe.
This role sits within an autonomous business unit of a global software vendor and therefore offers the look and feel of a start-up organisation without the bureaucracy and red-tape associated with larger vendors, but with the financial backing, presence, track record and structure to support the aggressive expansion plans to the company has.
This is a full lifecycle sales roles which includes all elements of the sales process, such as; client prospecting, lead generation, qualification, sales planning & execution, stakeholder management, directing sales support teams (presales, telesales, marketing) etc..

Required skills and experience:
# Proven enterprise software solutions sales experience with a track record of successful business development, account penetration and a consistent record of achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.
# Strong software domain knowledge, with proven experience of field sales in at least one of the following software product types; Business Intelligence (BI), Analytics, Enterprise Search, Information Access, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Knowledge Management, eDiscovery (or similar).
# Experience of managing the end-to-end sales cycle from initial cold-call through to contract signage, experience of closing deals in the £250k+ arena.
# Willingness to travel across the UK and Internationally.
# Fluency in another European language is a distinct bonus, as is experience of selling into other European markets and territories.
