My client is seeking a IOS /Android Lead Developer - .net, c#, developer, Client side applications, Microsoft Windows, MAC OSX, IOS, Android - London based paying up to £70,000 basic, pension, health etc
My client are adding new client side applications to their feature rich product set and are seeking a team leader to manage this leading technology group. The role will encompass looking after the development of Microsoft Windows, MAC OSX, Apple iOS and Google Andriod applications working within the technology development area.
The role will be to take ownership to develop core client side applications to interact with all aspects of the business. Initially this will focus on file transfer and manipulation within a cloud storage environment based, but will evolve into the design of mobile applications for my clients cloud computing product base.
You will be required to create:
§ Windows applications dealing with all aspects of file handling including but not limited to archival, copy/delete (with 'recycle bin'), multiple version tracking specifically focusing on Delta Encoding.
§ API to allow 3rd party access to the functions and features
§ Microsoft SQL DB interactions
§ Mobile client development Android and Apple iOS
§ Desktop application development Windows and Apple OSX
§ Managing small team of developers focused on cross platform developments
Whist the role is essentially a pure development role; the individual will need to be capable of identifying and appropriately communicating issues and potential solutions. Translated, this means we need someone who can understand the business need, commercial requirements and articulate these to the team who deliver the end result.
The candidate should also have experience of working in a team environment and offering leadership to junior developers. Key to the role will be assisting and mentoring the junior members of the team.
The successful individual will have a good technical understanding of a broad range of technologies and have the confidence and experience to be able guide and advise across new technology areas.
