SAS Developer / Administrator - SAS v9 Development, Support
Talented SAS professionals required to fulfil multiple roles within a SAS centre of excellence for this leading North West Enterprise, SAS v9, development and/or support skills, and preferably some knowledge/experience of: SAS Metadata Management using Management Console, SAS Architecture. North West, to £30-40k + attractive benefits.
As part of a SAS centre of excellence, you will be responsible for the administration, support, and development of the SAS platform utilised extensively throughout the business. You will contribute to, or lead the analysis, agreement and documentation of requirements for SAS v9 based systems/solutions to deliver business needs. You will be involved end to end in development, test, and support of SAS systems and will have contact with the business to resolve problems and issues.
The SAS Platform Administrator will work collaboratively with IT and all users of SAS across the organisation to ensure that the SAS Service is available, resilient and secure. The SAS Platform Administrator will typically work individually within a team and on projects. This is an opportunity for an ambitious, talented individual to work with the latest SAS technologies.
We require:
- Demonstrable experience using SAS as either an administrator or developer.
- SAS 9 experience.
- Broad understanding of SAS products, data structures, and programming technologies.
- Strong analytic, inductive, and deductive reasoning skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate designs and decisions to peers, customers and management.
