SQL Database Administrator / DBA: Up to £50,000pa
Exciting oportunity for a SQL Database Administrator / SQL DBA. Main role focus will be on maintenance, support and administration of production, development and test MS SQL Server database servers.
Skills / Experience:
Proven SQL Server Database Administration experience
T-SQL skills: ability to create data extracts, write and re-write stored procedures, triggers & functions, create and update database objects and security.
MCDBA / MCTS / MCITP Microsoft Certification in SQL Server.
Multi-Terabyte MS SQL Server 2000 / 2005 / 2008 databases management experience.
Skilled in Disaster Recovery and Replication systems, security, all aspects of performance tuning, Windows Server and Windows Server Clustering.
Optional / Beneficial
.NET Framework and the application development life-cycle.
SQL Server 2012.
MS BI STACK (SQL Server: Integration Services, Reporting Services, Analysis Services, MDX, ie. SSIS, SSRS or SSAS).
