After our successful event last week and due to popular demand, Rethink will be hosting our Inspiring Female Leaders event again this month, as part of our Diversity and Inclusion Series.
Off the back of our recent senior executive survey (please enquire for the full report), which highlights the skills gap as still the biggest challenge in the market currently, coupled with the lack of young females studying or qualifying in the STEM or digital space, we want to create a forum for inspirational female leaders across industry that can then provide meet ups and mentoring to the next generation.
Quite simply, we know a lot of inspiring female leaders and initially we wanted to get them together to share challenges, success and ideas across a variety of topics to be able to benefit from personally in their careers. We ae partnering with Thomas International on this, who are also completing a UK wide study on behavioural traits of female leaders which you will have a chance to be involved with directly and we will have follow up sessions on the results.
The theme of this talk will be ‘The key to success and the power of influence’ and speakers include:
- Naomi Riches – Paralympic Gold Medallist
“The Science – Behavioural traits leading to successful influencing.”
- Avril Chester – Founder and CEO at Cancer Central
“Key success factors in the effective use of Emotional Intelligence and Influence in the work place.”
Join us Wednesday 27th June, 8.30am-10:30am at Kings House, 10 Haymarket, London SW1Y 4BP.
